I shot this video during my trip to Iceland in August 2023. The crater was not easy to get to, it was about a 10 kilometer road in difficult terrain, but the resulting view was worth it! Being in the immediate vicinity of the crater was something breathtaking. I flew there with drones for 4 days and I burned the landing gear of 2 drones from the hot air above the lava. But luckily they survived and thanks to that I was able to shoot these shots. This footage captures dramatic lava fountains, glowing rivers of molten rock, and the unstoppable flow of fire through distant valleys. All accompanied by beautiful, calming ambient music designed to ease the mind and elevate your space.
